The invention relates to an aqueous solution for preserving an organ, especially the myocardium, comprising: between 100 and 130 mM of Na+, between 12 and 15 mM of K+, between 0.25 and 13 mM of Ca++, between 0.5 and 1.5 μΜ of cyclosporin A, and between 0.5 and 1.5 μΗ of taxol, and to the combined use of cyclosporin A and taxol in a solution for the in vitro preservation of organs, especially the myocardium.
