A gripping device is provided for gripping in a users hand in use. The gripping device includes a body portion having a first end and a second end, and at least first, second and third digit location means defined in the body portion between said first and second ends for the location of at least part of a users hand digit in use. The first digit location means is provided along the length of the body portion between the first and second ends. The at least second and third digit location means are provided either side of the first digit location means.
