PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation therapy system control device and a radiation therapy system control method which are utilized to apply radiation therapy to a tumor inside a human body, wherein a subject is free from unpleasant feeling.SOLUTION: The radiation therapy system control method includes: the step (S1) of collecting a planning-time location where a patient is positioned during planning the step (S2) of collecting a location alignment-time location where the patient is positioned when being location aligned the step (S3) of computing a time of therapy location, a gantry angle offset value, and a ring angle offset value so that when a ring is positioned shifted by the ring angle offset value from the ring angle and the gantry is positioned shifted by the gantry angle offset value from the gantry angle, the facing where an illumination head is positioned with respect to the time of therapy location when the ring is positioned at the ring angle and the gantry is positioned at the gantry angle may match the facing where the illumination head is positioned during planning and the step (S5) of positioning the patient in the patient position.
