The present invention relates to a cosmetic process which applies onto the skin a self-standing cosmetic sheet for the skin, comprising: ⋅at least one biocompatible and/or biodegradable hydrophobic polymer layer ⋅wherein ⋅the self-standing cosmetic sheet has a thickness of from 10 to 1000 nm, preferably from 30 to 500 nm, and more preferably from 50 to 300 nm. The cosmetic sheet according to the present invention may comprise at least one cosmetic active ingredient. The cosmetic sheet used in the present invention is very thin and not easily perceived on the skin； can be prepared with a variety of materials such as a biocompatible and/or biodegradable material, preferably non-cross-linked poly(lactic acid) or a combination of chitosan and alginic acid； and can adhere well onto the skin without any adhesive layer so that it is less irritable or no irritable to the skin.La présente invention concerne un procédé cosmétique qui consiste à appliquer sur la peau une feuille cosmétique autoportante pour la peau, comprenant : • au moins une couche polymère hydrophobe biocompatible et/ou biodégradable, • la feuille cosmétique autoportante ayant une épaisseur de 10 à 1000 nm, de préférence de 30 à 500 nm, et de manière davantage préférée de 50 à 300 nm. La feuille cosmétique selon la présente invention peut comprendre au moins un principe actif cosmétique. La feuille cosmétique utilisée dans la présente invention est très fine et difficile à percevoir sur la peau ； elle peut être préparée avec une variété de matériaux tels qu'un matériau biocompatible et/ou biodégradable, de préférence le poly(acide lactique) non réticulé ou une combinaison de chitosane et d'acide alginique ； et peut bien adhérer à la peau sans aucune couche adhésive de sorte qu'elle est moins irritante, voire pas irritante, pour la peau.
