PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hair cleansing compositions having excellent smoothness of finger combing when rinsing while having excellent quickness of foaming and excellent elasticity of foam, the hair cleansing compositions being able to impart a smoothly dry touch feeling after drying.SOLUTION: A hair cleansing composition contains a component (a): 0.1-10 mass% of acyl hydroxyalkyl alanine salt, a component (b): 1-20 mass% of acyl amino dicarboxylate of alkanolamine or alkali metal atom, a component (c): 1-20 mass% of an ampholytic surfactant, and a component (d): 0.01-3 mass% of cationized polymer.
