There is provided an organic sulfur compound having an excellent controlling effect on harmful arthropods which is represented by formula (I):wherein R1 represents a C3-C6 haloalkyl group having at least one fluorine atom and at least one atom selected from group consisting of a chlorine atom, a bromine atom and an iodine atom, R2 represents a cyano group and the like, R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group, R4 represents a C1-C5 fluoroalkyl group, and n represents 0, 1 or 2.
