PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system that improves operability in checking a past image and supports a medical activity of an operator reliably.SOLUTION: An endoscope system includes: a display part 30 for displaying an endoscope image taken by an endoscope, a recording part 22 for recording the endoscope image, and recording cueing information in association with a recording position on a temporal axis of the recorded endoscope image when a signal on a treatment timing of a treatment tool for treating a subject is given； and a control part 24 for, upon detection of a user operation, performing a time shift reproduction of the endoscope image recorded in the recording part with a recording position related to the cueing information as a starting point, and controlling the display part to switch the display from a one screen display with an endoscope image being taken by the endoscope as a live image to a two screen display of the live image and the time shift reproduction image by the time shift reproduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
