SOLUTION: A planting claw 140 is used for each seedling block including a seeding hole 21 from the downstream side in the transport direction of the seedling mat 1 while transporting the seedling mat 1 in the transport direction and reciprocating in the left-right direction orthogonal to the transport direction. The seedling mat 1 is a planting method in which seedlings are scraped off and planted in a field, and the seedling mat 1 includes a plurality of seeding holes 21 and a first slit 22 formed on the upstream side in the transport direction of each seeding hole 21 and extending in the left-right direction.
