A method and apparatus for treating masses, such, as prostate or breast cancer, or any other soft tissue cancerous or benign mass, employs a unique, three-dimensional software-controlled electronic amplifier array using arbitrary waveforms that dynamically and proportionally steer electrical currents by using two or more current vector paths, sequentially or simultaneously, through a mass containing e!ectrically-conductive ionic solutions so as to obtain 100% thermal heating or hyperthermia through the mass, and destroying it with a minimally-invasive treatment which requires no radiation or chemotherapy which could be harmful to the patient.Linvention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour traiter des masses, telles quune masse du cancer de la prostate ou du sein, ou toute autre masse cancéreuse ou bénigne de tissu mou. Les procédés et appareil emploient un réseau damplificateurs électroniques commandé par logiciel, tridimensionnel, unique, utilisant des formes donde arbitraires qui dirigent de manière dynamique et proportionnelle des courants électriques par utilisation de deux trajets de vecteurs courants ou plus, de manière séquentielle ou simultanée, à travers une masse contenant des solutions ioniques conductrices de lélectricité de façon à obtenir un chauffage thermique ou une hyperthermie à 100 % à travers la masse, et une destruction de celle-ci par un traitement minimalement invasif qui ne nécessite pas de rayonnement ou de chimiothérapie qui pourraient être nuisible au patient.
