PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sinker locking apparatus capable of achieving a caulking state with less variation and excellent outside appearance in caulking a sinker to a fishline, and capable of reducing physical burdens on a worker.SOLUTION: The sinker locking apparatus 10 is for locking the sinker 11 to the fishline 12 by holding the spindle-shaped lead sinker 11 with a through hole 11a into which the fishline 12 is inserted, between a pair of upper mold 13 and a lower mold 14, and pressing/deforming the sinker. The sinker locking apparatus 10 includes: a base member 15 for holding the lower mold 14 an arm member 16 journaled to the base member 15 in such a way as can rise or fall via a hinge 16 and the upper mold 13 having a recess 13a to approach or separate from a recess 14a formed in the lower mold 14 according to the rising/falling motion of the arm member 16.
