An adsorbent for calciprotein particles of the present invention is characterized in that the surface of a water-insoluble carrier is covalently bonded, through a hydrocarbon group, to at least one selected from the group consisting of amino group, carboxyl group, phosphate group, phosphono group, phosphino group, and thiol group.
