PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus imaging apparatus capable of reducing a load on an examiner and reducing time required for switching, by simplifying a switching operation from a fundus imaging mode to an anterior ocular segment imaging mode.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises: selection means configured to select one of a plurality of imaging modes including a fundus imaging mode for imaging a fundus of an eye to be inspected and an anterior ocular segment imaging mode for imaging an anterior ocular segment of the eye to be inspected; hyperopic diopter adjustment means capable of being inserted into or extracted from an optical axis, and configured to adjust hyperopia of the eye to be inspected while inserted into the optical axis when the fundus imaging mode is selected; and control means configured to cause a focus lens, when selection of the anterior ocular segment imaging mode is detected, to move along the optical axis in a direction of adjusting the hyperopia while the hyperopic diopter adjustment means is inserted in the optical axis.
