Seed disc comprises a motor, having a substantially stationary inner member and a rotatable outer member, and a substantially circular member operatively attached to the motor such that rotation of the outer member rotates the circular member. Circular member, outer member and inner member are coaxial around the central axis of the seed disc to reduce the axial width of the seed disc and to increase the diameter of the motor.
