A delivery catheter for a stent. The delivery catheter may comprise a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end includes a stent attachment region adapted to receive a stent. The stent may be of the self-expanding type. The catheter further comprises a handle at its proximal end and at least one sheath which may at least partially circumferentially cover said stent such as to retain it in a collapsed configuration. The sheath is coupled at its proximal end to an actuator located on said handle portion. The catheter further comprises at least one radio-opaque indicator for indicating a rotational orientation of the delivery catheter and/or the stent when observed using medical imaging during implantation of the stent.L'invention concerne un cathéter de pose pour une endoprothèse. Le cathéter de pose peut comprendre une extrémité distale et une extrémité proximale. L'extrémité distale comprend une région de fixation d'endoprothèse conçue pour accueillir une endoprothèse. L'endoprothèse peut être du type à déploiement automatique. Le cathéter comprend en outre un manche au niveau de son extrémité proximale et au moins une gaine qui peut au moins partiellement couvrir de manière circonférentielle ladite endoprothèse de façon à la retenir dans une configuration repliée. La gaine est accouplée au niveau de son extrémité proximale à un actionneur positionné sur ladite partie manche. Le cathéter comprend en outre au moins un indicateur radio-opaque pour indiquer une orientation de rotation du cathéter de pose et/ou de l'endoprothèse lorque l'on regarde à l'aide d'une imagerie médicale au cours de l'implantation de l'endoprothèse.
