PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging system or the like for preventing wrap-around artifacts due to aliasing.

SOLUTION: The MRI system 100 impresses a high frequency magnetic field to a subject 10 in a superimposed magnetic field in which the gradient magnetic field of a linear gradient for which magnetic field strength changes linearly and a distinctive magnetic field are superimposed on a static magnetic field, detects an induction voltage by receiving a nuclear magnetic resonance alternating magnetic field generated by the absorption resonance of energy with an atomic nucleus inside the subject 10 by the impression of the high frequency magnetic field, and successively acquires echo signals every time of generating the distinctive magnetic field and impressing the gradient magnetic field in a phase encoding direction. Also, the MRI system 100 constitutes measurement data comprising the acquired echo signals, and by performing inverse Fresnel transformation to the measurement data on the basis of an imaging parameter, images a desired inspection part in the subject 10 by an image size coefficient &alpha set as the parameter.
