The saliva collection container hag an arc-shaped slot corresponding to the lips is disposed at the periphery of the left and right sides of a mouth and extends to a lower edge of the lips. The saliva detecting module detects a total amount of the saliva accumulated in the saliva collection container. When the controlling module determines that the total amount of the saliva is larger than a total amount threshold of the saliva, controlling the reminding module to remind a user to swallow the saliva so as to prevent the user from choking and suffering from pneumonia result from the excess saliva in the oral.本發明提供一種穿戴式流涎監測裝置及流涎監測方法。穿戴式流涎監測裝置包含口罩、唾液接收容器、唾液量檢測模組、提醒模組以及控制模組。唾液接收容器具有對應嘴唇的弧形開槽，位於左嘴角和右嘴角周緣並延伸至嘴唇下緣處。唾液量檢測模組檢測唾液接收容器內盛接的總唾液量。當控制模組比對總唾液量大於總唾液量門檻值時，控制提醒模組提醒使用者吞嚥口水，藉此避免口腔中累積過量的唾液導致使用者嗆到，甚至造成肺炎。
