PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a small charcoal molded body reduced in powder missing and excellent in adsorption capability.SOLUTION: This method is the one for manufacturing the charcoal molded body formed by containing at least charcoal and a binder. A mixture of the binder and water where the concentration of the binder is 1.25-6 mass% is prepared. The charcoal is added to the mixture and is kneaded so that the charcoal and binder become in a range of 1:0.5 to 1:2 in a mass ratio, and a molding composition is prepared.
