Composition (C1) comprises: in medium, ethylenic block copolymer comprising first block(s) having glass transition temperature (Tg) of >= 40[deg] C, resulting from first monomer that forms homopolymer with Tg of >= 40[deg] C, and second block(s) having Tg of = 20[deg] C, resulting from second monomer that forms homopolymer with Tg of = 20[deg] C, connected by segment having the monomer(s), and block copolymer has polydispersity index of greater than 2 nonvolatile hydrocarbon ester oil(s) having molar mass of less than 650 g/mol and volatile oil having flash point of = 80[deg] C (less than 10 wt.%). A composition (C1) comprises: in a physiological medium, at least, one ethylenic block copolymer comprising at least one first block having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of >= 40[deg] C and resulting, in whole or in part, from at least one first monomer which is such that a homopolymer prepared from these monomers has a Tg of >= 40[deg] C, and at least one second block having a Tg of = 20[deg] C and resulting, in whole or in part, from at least one second monomer which is such that a homopolymer prepared from these monomers has a Tg of = 20[deg] C, the first block and the second block are connected to one another via a random intermediate segment comprising at least one of the first constituent monomers of the first block and at least one of the second constituent monomers of the second block, and the block copolymer has a polydispersity index (I) of greater than 2 and at least one nonvolatile hydrocarbon ester oil comprising >= 16 carbon atoms and having a molar mass of less than 650 g/mol where the composition comprises volatile oil having a flash point of = 80[deg] C (less than 10 wt.%). An independent claim is included for cosmetic method involving: application of the composition (C1) to a keratinous substance.
