A device (1) for treatment of perimplantitis comprises a pulse generator (2) to transmit a high-frequency alternating current electrical pulse train (I) through the implant (IM) to a damaged tissue (T), provided with a resistance detector (5) to detect the electrical resistance of the damaged tissue (T), a dimensional detector (8) to detect the size of the damaged tissue and an electrical affinity detector (F) to detect electrical affinity and accordingly control power, duration and frequency of said pulses, respectively.
