PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a hospital information system which allows a hospital staff to see important information related to an appropriate patient only when the patient requires immediate treatment and the hospital staff should protect the patient.SOLUTION: The system includes a server 10, a patient terminal 30, and a staff terminal 50. The patient terminal 30 has a communication part 35, an acceleration sensor 36, a display part 37 and a closeness sensor 38, wherein abnormality of the patient is decided by the acceleration sensor and informed to the server. The server 10 has a communication part 13, an important information storage part 15, and a server control part 20 for controlling contact with the staff terminal when it receives occurrence of abnormality. The staff terminal 50 has a communication part 51, a notice part 63, a closeness sensor 52, and a staff control part 60 for contacting with the staff terminal in the vicinity of the patient terminal when it receives information of occurrence of abnormality.
