PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a blood pressure regardless of the change in a voltage.SOLUTION: This electronic sphygmomanometer 100 is provided with: a cuff which is wound around the measurement site of a subject a pressurization control unit 115 which controls, according to the drive voltage, a pump for outputting a fluid in the cuff such that the pressure in the cuff is increased at a pressurization rate target a pressure detection unit 112 for detecting a cuff pressure signal representing the cuff pressure a blood pressure calculating unit for calculating the blood pressure value on the basis of the pulse wave superimposed on the detected cuff pressure signal and a target change unit 114 which variably changes the pressurization rate target in the pressurization process in which the cuff pressure is initially increased at an initial pressurization rate target and in which pressurization is then continued.
