PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable grain culms at the vicinity of a levee to be reaped by a combine harvester without requiring special operation even when a reaping part is lifted at the vicinity of the levee or the like, and to heighten the efficiency of the reaping operation.SOLUTION: The combine harvester is equipped with a reaping and conveyance-controller (11). The controller (11) unconditionally stops the driving of a reaping and conveying apparatus (10) when the lifting of the reaping part (4) to a nonoperation height is detected, and the traveling speed of a traveling vehicle (1), which is faster than a prescribed speed, is detected, and automatically stops the drive of the reaping and conveying apparatus (10) after the drive of the reaping and conveying apparatus (10) is continued until the reaped grain culms are conveyed for a prescribed distance from the time point of detection by the reaping and conveying apparatus (10), or until the passage of prescribed time when the traveling speed not faster than the prescribed speed is detected even when the lifting of the reaping part (4) to the nonoperation height is detected.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】畦際等で刈取部を上昇させても、特別な操作を要することなくこの畦際の穀稈を刈り取ることができるものとし、刈取作業の能率を高める。【解決手段】刈取部(4)の非作業高さへの上昇が検出され且つ行車体(1)の所定速度よりも速い走行速度が検出された場合は刈取搬送装置(10)の駆動を無条件に停止させ、刈取部(4)の非作業高さへの上昇が検出されても所定速度以下の走行速度が検出された場合には、この検出の時点から刈取搬送装置(10)によって刈取後の穀稈が所定距離搬送されるまでの間または所定時間が経過するまでの間、刈取搬送装置(10)の駆動を継続した後に該刈取搬送装置(10)の駆動を自動的に停止させる刈取搬送制御装置(11)を設ける。【選択図】図5
