PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having a structure which prevents generation of twists or wrinkles during use which is made by layering a plurality of absorbent units and is used by peeling off an upper absorbent unit after use.
SOLUTION: In the absorbent article 1, the upper absorbent units 20 are layered and bonded peelably using tentative seals 8 on a skin side surface of a lowermost absorbent unit 10. The flexural rigidity of the lowermost absorbent unit 10 is higher than those of the upper absorbent units 20, and the compression recovery of the lowermost absorbent unit 10 is also higher than those of the upper absorbent units 20. With such a configuration, twists or wrinkles of the lowermost absorbent unit 10 is prevented while the upper absorbent unit 20 is abutted on the excretory organ. In addition, because the volume of the lowermost absorbent unit 10 recovers after the upper absorbent unit 20 is peeled off, the contact feeling of the absorbent article abutted on the excretory organ is improved.
