PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root hooking prevention device that can make a fish-hook proceed without tangling the waterweed or algae in a fish-hook proximal end in the water while pushing aside them, can protect the fish-hook proximal end with a fishing line tied up thereto even if colliding to a reef or other obstacles, and can transmit the presence of the reef or other obstacles capable of causing root hooking around the fish-hook to a fisherman by vibration.SOLUTION: A root hooking prevention device comprises a tip 10 formed of the material mainly composed of the hard material, a rear end 20 formed of the material mainly composed of the soft material, and an insertion hole 30 bored to pass the fishing line S from the rear end 20 to the tip 10.
