The present invention relates to a smart stick for a visually impaired person and, more specifically, to a smart stick for a visually impaired person, in which a sensor unit is installed on the upper end of a stick for a visually impaired person to prevent an accident colliding with an obstacle such as eaves, a signboard and the like at the height of a user&prime；s head, increase a recognition ratio with respect to a surrounding situation, and prevent an accident with voice and vibration functions while the user walks. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the smart stick for a visually impaired person comprises: a support unit formed in a cylindrical shape； a grip part integrally formed on the upper side of the support unit to be held by a user； and a detection unit disposed on one side of the support unit and the grip unit.
