PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in fitness, followability to the movement of a wearer, a leakage preventing property and a wear feeling.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a back surface sheet 3 and a vertically long absorbent body 4 interposed between both sheets. The absorbent body 4 is provided with two laminated absorption sheets 41 and 42 at least, each of the two absorption sheets 41 and 42 has a plurality of slits 41a-41d and 42a-42d of a length equal to or longer than 50% of the entire width of the absorption sheet at each of parts positioned at both side parts in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 4, and the slits 41a-41d on one absorption sheet 41 and the slits 42a-42d on the other absorption sheet 42 are formed at positions not to be overlapped in the plane view of the absorption sheets.
