A self-operated, or therapist assisted, apparatus particularly adapted formassaging a user's bodyparts affected by repetitive strain injuries such as tendinitis and carpaltunnel syndrome, comprises twoclamping arms joined at a base end and provided with an opening at the otherend. Flexible massagingmembers are mounted on opposite medial sections of the arms. A body part maybe placed between the twoarms of the device to be acted upon by the massaging members, whereby the bodypart is adjustablyclamped between the pair of massaging members and massaged by translating androtating movements ofthe body part along an axis perpendicular to the mounting axes of themassaging members. Alternatively, one of the arms of the apparatus may be separated from the apparatus and usedindependently to massagebody parts that otherwise would not fit between the arms of the apparatus.
