PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-safe wheelchair for bathing capable of separating easily a chair part from a truck part.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 1 for bathing has a chair part 10 and a truck part 20 for loading the chair part 10 thereon. An engaging part (unillustrated) included in an external lifting device is engaged with parts 17a, 17b to be engaged provided on the chair part 10, to thereby enable separation of the chair part 10 from the truck part 20 by lifting the chair part 10. The wheelchair 1 for bathing also includes a locking mechanism 40 for locking engagement between the engaging part and the parts 17a, 17b to be engaged when the chair part 10 is separated from the truck part 20, and removing the locking when the chair part 10 is combined with the truck part 20.
