A device comprises a cutter with flexible blades, a mechanism for rotating the cutter, a mechanism for inserting the cutter and opening same into a barrel-shaped working configuration, and a cradle for fruit. The mechanism for inserting and opening the cutter is in the form of a plunger which is movable in a cylinder, wherein a needle for piercing the fruit is fastened to the plunger. The cutter is U-shaped in the form of two blades with an inner single bevel, and it is possible to fasten said cutter to the end of the needle in the central cutter section between the two blades, and to fasten the ends of the cutter to the plunger. A lifting mechanism for delivering fruit to the working area of the U-shaped cutter comprises a cup, the upper part of which is in the form of a cradle for the fruit, with an inner spherical surface.
