The present invention relates to a microparticle detector, and a detection method of the microparticle using the same. The microparticle detector comprises: a body having a measurement channel an application electrode a measurement electrode and a signal processing unit for grasping electric conductivity of fluid flowing through the channel of the body and applying a voltage corresponding to the electric conductivity to the applied electrode, thereby being able to be applied to various household appliances because particles in liquid can be easily counted regardless of the electrical conductivity of a solvent, and being able to check the cleanliness of drinking water at any time by making the detector portable.본 발명에 의한 미소 입자 검출 장치 및 이를 이용한 미소 입자 검출 방법은, 측정 채널을 가지는 바디 인가 전극 측정 전극 및 상기 바디의 채널을 흐르는 유체의 전기전도도를 파악하여, 그 전기전도도에 대응하는 전압을 상기 인가 전극에 인가하는 신호처리 유닛를 포함함으로써, 용매의 전기전도도에 상관없이 액체 내의 입자를 용이하게 계수할 수 있어 각종 가전제품에 적용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 휴대용으로 제작하여 상시적으로 식수의 청결도를 확인할 수 있다.
