PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the emergency release of a holding action by a feed chain and a holding rod, when the wears etc. of a worker is seemed to be nipped by the feed chain and holding rod.SOLUTION: A threshing device having the feed chain (8) feeding cereal culms for threshing and a holding rod (9) energized to the feed chain (8) side is constituted such that a part or the whole of a conveyance-starting end side of the holding rod (9) is releasable toward the feed chain (8), and the part or whole of the conveyance-starting end side of the holding rod (9) is released from the feed chain (8) linked with the releasing operation of a hold-releasing means (22) installed in the vicinity of the conveyance-starting end of the holding rod (9).
