PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin stocking having a rubber touch feeling reduced while using a naked thread of a polyurethane elastic yarn as an insertion yarn so as to cause a strong wear pressure to appear.SOLUTION: A stocking uses, as a ground yarn, a woven structure which is prepared by inserting a naked thread of a polyurethane elastic yarn 170 having a stronger elastic force than that of the core yarn of a double covering yarn 160, into the stitch which has been prepared by zokki-weaving that double covering yarn 160. Not only the upper twisted yarn but also the lower twisted yarn of the double covering yarn 160 have a small twisted number per unit length, and the naked yarn on the skin side (or the back side of a raw fabric) is covered with a nylon yarn 164 and a nylon yarn 166 which are twisted double covering yarn 160.
