PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid preparation which contains a necessary amount of a water-soluble pigment for giving clear visual confirmation when added to a drink and has a light color and a stable color tone.SOLUTION: The method for producing a solid preparation comprises a step of mixing a water-soluble pigment with a high fluid-absorbent base material in the presence of a solvent and drying the resulting mixture to obtain pigment granules and a step of mixing the pigment granules with an active ingredient to produce a solid preparation comprising the active ingredient, not less than 0.1 wt.% water-soluble pigment, and the high fluid-absorbent base material with at least part of the water-soluble pigment being adsorbed on the high fluid-absorbent base material.
