PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure plate whose mounting part can be easily mounted and fixed to an apparatus body, and to provide a radiation imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A cylindrical projecting member for fixing the mounting part 44 to an insertion member is inserted into a recess 86 formed in the mounting part 44 of the pressure plate 26 to fix the mounting part 44. The recess 86 formed in the mounting part 44 extends in a direction (in an orthogonal direction in this embodiment) to intersect a width direction (an inserting direction). The relative position variation between the recess 86 and the projecting member can thereby be absorbed in the direction orthogonal to the inserting direction, and the looseness of the mounting part 44 in the inserting direction can be suppressed.
