Method of evaluating the response of a tumour to a breaking the dna from a sample of the tumor cells in which: (a) a sample is prepared from the cell taken from said tumor cells; (b) the said cell sample is subjected to a breaking the dna which is characterized by a dose of, (c) is determined on the said cell sample, the mean number of nuclear foci obtained with a marker ph2ax to the observation time t (these numbers are respectively called nph2ax (t)), the observation time t being the time t = 0 min (called t0, the state prior to administration of the dose d) and at least one observation time selected from t = t1, t2, t3 and t4 after administration of the dose d; (d) is determined at least one parameter or score making it possible to characterize the response of the sample to the treatment of breaking the dna, by using at least the numbers means nph2ax (t), and in which process • t4 is a fixed value, which represents the time for which the rate of fractures dna reaches its residual value, t3 is a fixed value, which represents the time at the end of which approximately 25% of the double - strand breaks (cdb) are repaired in the control cells from patients radioresistant, t2 is a fixed value, which represents the time at the end of which approximately 50% of cdb are repaired in the control cells from patients radioresistant, t1 is a fixed value, which represents the time at the end of which the number of cdb recognized reaches its maximum in the control cells from patients radioresistant.Procédé d'évaluation de la réponse d'une tumeur à un traitement cassant l'ADN à partir d'un prélèvement de cellules de ladite tumeur dans lequel :(a) On prépare un échantillon cellulaire à partir des cellules prélevées sur ladite tumeur ;(b) On soumet ledit échantillon cellulaire à un traitement cassant l'ADN caractérisé par une dose D,(c) on détermine sur ledit échantillon cellulaire le nombre moyen de foci nucléaires obtenus avec un marqueur pH2AX aux temps d'observation t (ces nom
