This needle device (1) is configured so that a needle unit (10) can be stored from a hub (15) side thereof in a protector (50). Once the needle unit (10) is stored in the protector (50) in a state in which a cover (30) is not mounted on the needle unit (10), a locking claw (55) provided to the protector (50) engages with the hub (15) so that the needle unit (10) cannot separate from the protector (50). When the cover (30) is mounted on the needle unit (10), the needle unit (10) can be freely inserted into and removed from the protector (50).
