PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which makes a vent hole provided on a front panel less visible to prevent impairment of the design and allows a user to easily open or close the front panel.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a body case 12 in which a filter housing part is formed on a front surface a filter 24 housed in the filter housing part and a front panel 10 covering the filter housing part and detachably attached to the body case 12. The front panel 10 has a horizontally long recessed part 10b.
