PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denture base material having excellent hardness (flexural modulus) and when made into a denture base having excellent durability (yield point strength of compression test).SOLUTION: The denture base material comprises a polymer component including an acrylic resin which has, when made into a test piece with a length of 80 mm, a width of 10 mm, and a thickness of 4 mm, a flexural strength of 110 MPa or more as measured by a three point flexure test under the conditions of a test speed of 2 mm/min, and a fulcrum distance of 64 mm conforming to JIS K7171 (2008), and when made into a notched test piece with a length of 39 mm, a height of 8 mm, and a width of 4 mm, has a maximum stress intensity factor of 1.9 MPa mor more as measured in a fracture toughness test in a flexure test under the conditions of a test speed of 1 mm/minute conforming to JIS T6501 (2012), and the total destruction work is 900 J/m.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】硬さ(曲げ弾性率)に優れ、かつ義歯床としたときの耐久性(圧縮試験の降伏点強度)に優れた義歯床用材料を提供する。【解決手段】アクリル系樹脂を含む高分子成分を含有し、長さ80mm、幅10mm、厚さ4mmの試験片としたときに、JIS K7171(2008)に準拠する、試験速度2mm/分、支点間距離64mmの条件の3点曲げ試験によって測定される曲げ強さが110MPa以上であり、かつ、長さ39mm、高さ8mm、幅4mmのノッチ入り試験片としたときに、JIS T6501(2012)に準拠する、試験速度1mm/分の条件の曲げ試験による破壊靱性試験によって測定される最大応力拡大係数が1.9MPa・m1/2以上であり、かつ、全破壊仕事が900J/m2以上である義歯床用材料。【選択図】なし
