The present invention relates to a method of fabricating a bone substitute material. The method includes mixing tri-calcium phosphate (TCP) powder with distilled water to produce a slurry composition immersing a dishwashing sponge into the slurry composition drying the dishwashing sponge impregnated with the slurry composition at an ambient temperature and performing a two-stage sintering process on the dishwashing sponge impregnated with the slurry composition.
