PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatilization device capable of suppressing a change in the duration of effect corresponding to the utilization state of an air conditioner.
SOLUTION: The volatilization device is constituted of a cartridge 12 which keeps the opening part of a tray 21, in which a volatile agent is housed, closed by a volatilization surface 22 and a casing 11 in which the cartridge 12 is mounted, and the casing 11 is used in the state attached to the front wall surface 122 above the blowoff port 131 of the air conditioner 121. The attaching surface 123 attached to the front wall surface 122 is constituted of a cutting-off surface not equipped with an opening part for cutting off the flow of air and a volatilization space 152 is formed between the volatilization surface 22 of the cartridge 12 held to the mounting state and a rear case 62. A discharge part 162 for discharging the volatilized volatile agent downward is provided to the volatilization space 152.
