The present invention relates to a method for extracting lancemaside A from a Codonopsis lanceolata. The method comprises the steps of: extracting Codonopsis lanceolata powder by alcohol under heating and reflux conditions； removing alcohol from the alcohol extract obtained in the previous step and freeze-drying the alcohol to obtain a solid extract； extracting an aqueous solution of the solid extract obtained in the previous step by an organic solvent to remove an organic layer； extracting a residual water layer in the previous step by alcohol to obtain an alcohol extract； and extracting the extract obtained in the previous step by dichloromethane and methanol. The method can effectively extract and purify lancemaside A within a short time, and thus the method of the present invention can be useful in the field of food industries using lancemaside A.본 발명은 더덕 분말을 가열 환류 조건에서 알코올로 추출하는 단계, 상기 단계에서 얻은 알코올 추출액으로부터 알코올을 제거하고 동결 건조시켜 고형 추출물을 얻는 단계, 상기 단계에서 얻은 고형 추출물의 수용액을 유기 용매로 추출하여 유기 층을 제거하는 단계, 상기 단계에서 남은 수층을 알코올로 추출하여 알코올 추출액을 수득하는 단계, 및 상기 단계에서 얻은 추출액을 디클로로메탄과 메탄올로 추출하는 단계를 포함하는 더덕으로부터 란세마사이드 A를 추출하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 추출 방법은 단 시간 내에 효율적으로 란세마사이드 A를 추출 및 정제할 수 있어, 본 발명의 추출 방법은 란세마사이드 A를 이용하는 식품 산업 분야에 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
