PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA synthetase inhibitor which can be produced easily and causes few adverse effects.SOLUTION: The DNA synthetase inhibitor includes an acylated sterol glycoside as an active ingredient. A sterol skeleton thereof is preferably &beta-sitosterol, a sucrose thereof which is bonded as a glycoside is preferably D-glucose, an acyl group thereof is preferably linoleic acid.
