X - is selected from an anion of a pharmaceutically acceptable acid or from halo group preferably X - is selected from halo group more preferably is Cl - or Br - . In particular, the present invention relates to a long-chain quaternary ammonium of formula (I) as a wound healing and/or an anti-inflammatory agent for use in the treatment of eye conditions.
