PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain flare-processed products of catheters having reliable quality.SOLUTION: A catheter 2 is passed through a widely opening hole 32 for flare molding of a molding tool 1 a tapered tip 35 of a pin for flare molding is heated an end part of the catheter 2 is fit into the tip 35 of the pin 3 within the widely opening hole 32 of the molding tool 1 and the end part of the catheter 2 is more deeply fit into the pin 3 when it is detected that the end part of the catheter 2 is in a state of actual plastic flow due to conductive heat from the pin 3, thereby promoting flare processing on the end part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】品質が安定したカテーテルのフレア加工品を得る。【解決手段】成形型1のフレア成形用の拡開孔32にカテーテル2を通し、フレア成形用ピンの先細になった先端部35を加熱し、成形型1の拡開孔32内においてカテーテル2の端部をピン3の先端部35に嵌め、カテーテル2の端部がピン3からの伝導熱によって実際に塑性流動する状態になったことを検出したときに、カテーテル2の端部をピン3にさらに深く嵌め込んで該端部のフレア加工を進める。【選択図】図3
