PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring TWA (T-wave alternans) with high precision.SOLUTION: A TWA measuring apparatus comprises: a signal generation unit 162 for generating a time-series signal by lining up a T-wave shape (for example, a peak value) included in an electrocardiographic wave form in time series for each heart beat a calculation unit 164 for calculating a fractal dimension of the time-series signal from the time-series signal generated by the signal generation unit 162 and a TWA determination unit 166 for determining that TWA is present when the number of dimensions of the fractal dimension calculated by the calculation unit 164 exceeds a determination threshold and determining that the TWA is not present when the number of dimensions does not exceed the determination threshold.
