PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deterioration in fishing operability, prevent an increase in cost, and suitably prevent a fishing line from twining around a spool shaft when the spool shaft intrudes between a rotor and a spool.SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing, which comprises a rotor 3 rotating in such a manner as to interlock with a rotation operation of a handle 5, makes a fishing line wound around a spool 4 via a line guide 35 provided in an arm part 32 of the rotor 3. The rotor 3 comprises a cylinder part 31 for supporting the arm part 32. An opening 30 is formed on a peripheral wall surface 31a of the cylinder part 31.
