PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having stretchable parts around legs, whose stretch stress differs depending on positions in a stretchable sheet.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises three-dimensional gathers formed on both side parts by a stretchable sheet having a stretchable part that can expand and contract in a longitudinal direction. In the stretchable part, an elastic film that can expand and contract at least in the longitudinal direction is laminated between a first sheet layer having no elasticity and a second sheet layer. The first sheet layer and the second sheet layer are joined directly or through the lastic film at a plurality of junctions with intervals. The stretchable part can be contracted by a contractive force of the elastic film and expanded by applying an external force in the longitudinal direction. Because the junction area ratio occupied by the total area of the junctions included in a unit area is different in a width direction in areas of the stretchable sheet, stretch stress in the longitudinal directions differs between the areas in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
