PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for generating hydrogen capable of easily feeding hydrogen onto a target.SOLUTION: The present inventors surmised that hydrogen could be easily ingested in our daily lives if a product generating hydrogen can be easily coated or sprayed. The present invention therefore provides a composition for generating hydrogen including a substance generating hydrogen as a result of the reaction thereof with water and a volatile non-aqueous solvent. Since the composition for generating hydrogen featured by the present invention includes the substance generating hydrogen as a result of the reaction thereof with water and the volatile non-aqueous solvent, hydrogen can be easily fed onto targets (e.g., skin, etc.). Since the volatile component included within the composition of the present invention for generating hydrogen evaporates after coating, on the other hand, the substance generating hydrogen alone can be retained on the target.
