PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable inexpensive and granular excreta treatment material for an animal, having a moderately dehumidifying function, water absorbency, an ability to remove ammonia smell, and an ability to inhibit proliferation of microorganisms.SOLUTION: A dried coated granular material includes a granular core containing an organic fiber material waste and a material having adhesiveness, and an adhesive coating layer containing a material coating at least a part of the granular core.
