PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfectant composition for industrial use, including 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one stable over a long period.
SOLUTION: The disinfectant composition for industrial use includes: 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one water a hydrophilic organic solvent and/or a surfactant one or more compounds represented by formula (1): AXO
n (wherein, A is H or alkali metal ion X is halogen atom and n is an integer of 1-4), or one or more compounds represented by formula (2) (wherein, &alpha is nitro or cyano &beta and &gamma are each bromine atom, aminocarbonyl, cyano, cyanoalkyl, hydroxyalkyl or haloalkyl).
